Snake!

So our darling little kitten killed a snake and brought it into the house through the doggie door and put it by its food dish. Needless to say I freaked out a little when I saw it. At first I wasn’t sure if it was a rubber snake toy. They I got a closer look and sure enough it was real. It was a little garden snake probably just under a foot long. Funny thing is I have never seen a snake around here.

I guess it’s not as bad as the time our dog, Chinook, killed an opossum and brought into the house. Then there was that bird with the missing head….yuck…
